D\u00e9monstration au Liban, Masato Matsuura est invit\u00e9 pour The 1st Martial Arts Festival of Beirut<\/p>\n
On September 25th and 26th, Martyr\u2019s Square in Downtown Beirut will host the region\u2019s first Martial Arts Festival, organized by TRAK Development and Sport Evasion in collaboration with Solidere, and under the patronage of HE Mr. Michel Pharaon, Minister of Tourism.<\/p>\n
The festival\u2019s highlight is a breathtaking show by the world-renowned Shaolin Monks and other World UFC Champions in Karate, Kung Fu, Taekwondo, Nunshaku, Judo, Wushu and Jiu Jitsu. The show treats the story of a bullied child who overcomes his shyness, and builds confidence through the practice of martial arts. The festival also features performances by more than 70 professional athletes, as well as skills demonstrations by young martial arts students in conjunction with the Lebanese Army\u2019s elite forces.<\/p>\n
Martial Art\u2019s positive influence on personal growth, on the enrichment of the body and soul, is a point Sensei Toufic Kawar from TRAK Development keeps underlying, while calling for this event to become a yearly festivity in Beirut the way it is in other world capitals.<\/p>\n
